What’s Next for IAQ in the Wake of COVID-19?
Pandemics in the past have been instrumental in shifting societal norms, government policies, and even the way we design and build homes and buildings. While the COVID-19 pandemic might not be completely behind us, perhaps it is time to take stock of what we have learned and how we might put those lessons into practice.
HRAI will be hosting a special session on this topic at the Annual Meeting on September 19th. Joining us will be Dr. Jeffrey Siegel, Professor and Bahen/Tanenbaum Chair in Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto, and Sandro Perruzza, CEO of the Ontario Society for Professional Engineers. The session will focus on the most important building science lessons of the past two years and how the HVACR industry, in partnership with governments and other key stakeholders, might build on these lessons to create healthier homes and buildings for Canadians going forward.
