Krystal Hobbs with Reflective Marketing returned to HRAI’s screens to lead a discussion on designing and executing an effective marketing plan for HVAC businesses. The webinar covered goal-setting and budgeting while taking a look at what’s working in the HVAC marketing space, and left ample room at the end for questions from the audience.

Boosting HVAC Training with SkillCat 

Brendan Arsenault with SkillCat joined HRAI to look at how online trade school platforms like SkillCat are “levelling up” HVAC techs faster and streamlining team training. “We have all heard of the skilled trades gap,” Arsenault began. “We have a lot of people we need to hire, and there’s a need for an online trade school and a way for a company like yours to be able to hire someone and create an in-house academy and get them up to speed. We have about 1500 hours of training across over 450 courses to help do that.”

HRAI Masterclass: Stress-Free HVAC System Sales 

April saw the launch of HRAI’s 2026 Masterclass webinar series. In this debut class, David Holt with Contractor University came ready to offer his veteran industry insights towards helping HVAC teams “turn HVAC system replacement into a clear, comfortable decision for homeowners.” “This program is all about understanding that broken HVAC equipment leads to stress for everyone … and when we can help homeowners invest the right amount of money for the right products, they win, you win as a contractor, your distributor and manufacturers win – it's a win all up and down the chain. That said, we have to understand that most technicians – who are the first responders – have a hard time positioning themselves as a salesperson.”

How Many Dollars Are in Your Database?
