TSBC: New gas directive: special venting and BH venting system terminations

Attention all gasfitters, gas contractors and asset owners:

This email is to inform you that a new directive has been issued by the BC Provincial Safety Manager, Energy. This directive provides details on vent termination clearances for special venting systems or BH venting systems when not specified by the CSA B149.1 Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code or the appliance manufacturer’s certified installation instructions.

In the event that certified instructions are not provided, please refer to this directive for clearance requirements.
