If you've been reading ZEBx's case studies on high-performance buildings, you may have noticed a recurring theme. Heat pumps are being used to generate domestic hot water. As more and more regulations target emissions reductions, this will become far more common. Not all DHW heat pumps are created equal though. Some use refrigerants with high global warming potential, while other heat pumps use refrigerants with ultra-low GWP like CO2.

ZEBx is proud to partner with BCIT and three CO2-based DHW heat pump suppliers to present our three-part, in-person Technology Demonstration Series workshops. This inaugural event will focus on the Lync Aegis heat pump water heater – a new arrival to the BC heat pump scene.
