Successful Turn Out at the OGA Conference April 26, 2022

On April 26th, 2022 OGA hosted their annual conference, themed ‘Closing the Loop’ after a 3-year hiatus from in-person meetings. ‘There was an interesting dynamic and energy at the conference this year,’ said Jeff Hunter, President of the OGA. ‘It was great to see so many people, old friends and colleagues, and new faces, keeping the geo exchange discussion going.”

The first session kicked off with Enwave, this year’s platinum sponsor, announcing their new Geo Cities campaign to attendees, before introducing the keynote session.  The keynote session, with Jean-Philippe Hardy of Dunsky Energy + Climate Advisors, and Martin Luymes, VP of Government & Stakeholders Relations with HRAI, addressed how ground source heat pumps can play a role in achieving 2050 net-zero targets.

The event had lots to offer on content that encouraged lively discussions about geo exchange, training, and collaboration between local government and the Geo industry.  The attendees at this event were comprised of municipal reps, commercial and residential contractors, manufacturers, consulting engineers and utilities.

In the coming weeks, presentations will be available from each of the speakers and a notice will go out about this in upcoming communications.

The OGA would like to thank the sponsors, exhibitors and attendees for making this event a successful one.

We are proud to have the following companies as this year’s OGA Conference Sponsors.
