Skilled Trades Certification Updates: Virtual Information Sessions & In-person Events

On December 1, 2022, ITA became SkilledTradesBC, marking the introduction of our expanded mandate and the start of the province’s move to the Skilled Trades Certification system. 

We will be hosting a series of Skilled Trades Certification virtual information sessions in the coming weeks, designed to provide an overview of the new Skilled Trades Certification system, how you as an employee or employer can access resources to help you through the transition and to answer any questions you might have. 

 We will also be launching a series of in-person open houses in communities across the province, where our Skilled Trades Certification Advisors and Apprenticeship Advisors will be available to meet you and discuss how we can support employers and trade workers to ensure a successful transition.
