Reminder: Connect with Provincial Candidates from All Parties with HRAI Ontario Grass-Roots Campaign
As noted in a recent article from HRAI’s In the Air Article HRAI is inviting members to participate in a “grass-roots” campaign to educate provincial politicians of all parties during the upcoming election about the importance of the HVACR industry to life in Ontario. The goal is to make initial connections with prospective provincial representatives at a time when they are particularly attuned to the needs of constituents. Well-informed candidates will make more responsive representatives when elected!
HRAI was privileged to have @OntarioNDP Candidate for Mississauga-Malton, @WaseemAhmed tour HRAI member @CarrierEnterprise and hear about the issues facing the HVACR Industry. Thank you Mr. Ahmed for meeting with HRAI member Rachel Hilling and visiting a member company #OntarioElection2022
If you are interested in participating in this program, just let us know, and we will invite local candidates to meet with you. We will also prepare you to discuss general issues of importance to the industry. You will be given an information toolkit to help guide the process (including some key talking points and tactics). You may even want to provide a tour of your business!
Don’t underestimate the power of making these connections! With your help, we can find new champions in the next Provincial Parliament who will help put forward our issues and make the regulatory environment easier for HVACR businesses across the country.
