Google Local Services Ads 101: How HVAC companies can book more jobs on autopilot
This August, Reflective Marketing returned for a webinar aimed at helping HVACR businesses use Google Local Services Ads (LSAs) to connect with homeowners and generate qualified leads. Krystal Hobbs (owner) and Magdalena Posada (marketing coordinator) led viewers through a deep dive into how LSAs work, why they can outperform traditional Google Ads for local HVAC companies, and how to properly set up and optimize a business’s profile to improve visibility, increase calls, and attract customers who are ready to book a service. The webinar also shared proven strategies for ranking higher in search results, lowering lead costs, and making Google work harder for businesses.
“I hear it all the time, how important Google is in this industry, but there are a lot of things – particularly with getting local service ads to show up at the top and getting actual leads and calls from Google – that a lot of contractors aren’t aware of,” Hobbs said. “We wanted to do this webinar to really make it easy and practical so you can start to get the phone ringing more today and set yourselves up for the shoulder season and heating season to come.”

Heat Pumps in Canada: How cold-climate performance and dual-fuel compatibility are driving adoption
Midea Residential Air Conditioning took centre stage in this webinar exploring heat pump technology and adoption in Canada. David Rames, Senior Specialist, Product Promotion & Development for Midea, led a discussion on the latest advances in cold-climate heat pumps and dual-fuel systems. The discussion covered how modern inverter-driven technology performs in extreme temperatures, where dual-fuel configurations can make sense, and what to consider when evaluating retrofit opportunities. Along the way, Rames explored some of the common barriers to adoption and changing homeowner expectations.
More than an overview of heat pump tech, Rames brought insights from a heat pump installation in his home, along with reflections on his involvement in “Project Homestead,” a heat pump installation for a community home in Alaska. “I was so happy to be part of that,” he said. “It was an awesome project. Again, we have to stress test our product to make sure it does what we say it’s going to do in the toughest of climates and we proved it there.”
