Notice: Registration for pre-consultation webinars to move forward with the Energy Efficiency Regula

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) continues to move forward on its plan to amend the Energy Efficiency Regulations as outlined in its Forward Regulatory Plan 2024-2026. This notice is to inform you that a series of webinars will be held between May 27 and June 26, 2024 to provide product-specific details on energy efficiency standards, testing standards, labelling, verification, and reporting requirements that are being considered.
Technical bulletins will be posted in June to provide similar information. For those unable to attend a webinar, please consult the bulletins that will be found on our pre-consultation page or you can contact us to request of copy of the webinar or bulletin.

· Gas and oil-fired furnaces (commercial) - June 13, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm EDT
· Televisions - May 27, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm EDT
· Ground-source heat pumps - June 3, 2024, 1:00-2:00 pm EDT
· Electric motors - June 26, 2024, 11:00-12:00 pm EDT
· Ranges – Planned for Autumn 2024
