HRAI is pleased to announce the appointment of Abhilash Kantamneni to the role of Director, Government Relations, effective September 29, 2025. Many in the industry will already know Abhi from his engagement with HRAI through his role at Efficiency Canada. With over 10 years of experience shaping energy, housing, and business policy in Canada, Abhi has focused his efforts in research and advocacy on energy poverty, electrification, and HVAC market transformation. Skilled at briefing policymakers, managing coalitions, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, he has become a trusted partner to contractors, utilities, municipalities and communities around the country.
Abhi will join Martin Luymes and the Government Relations team at HRAI in the pursuit of a number of key policy priorities at the national and provincial level, including HRAI’s efforts to close the training gap in the residential sector.
