Natural Resources Canada – Building Energy Code Compliance Study

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is conducting a Canada-wide study to collect information about energy code compliance for buildings. Targeted respondent groups are industry professionals, practitioners and building officials who have experience within the last five years meeting or enforcing energy code for Part 3 buildings.

In addition to indicating the current level of compliance with energy requirements, your anonymous responses will help identify barriers and opportunities to improve the code compliance process.

The study is now open and can be found at the following link:

We encourage industry participants to take 15 minutes to answer these important questions before January 2nd, 2023

Thank you in advance for contributing to this important initiative. If you have any questions or wish to follow up on the results, please contact buildings-batiments@nrcan-rncan.gc.ca.
