Maverick Awards: Entry Deadline Soon

 

Entries for Built Green Canada’s third annual Maverick Awards close February 13, 2026! This is a niche awards program profiling trailblazers in sustainable building.

There are all kinds of ways to be a Maverick. Built Green profiles outstanding projects and companies / individuals in, or supporting, sustainable building. 

Award Categories
 
-  Ambassador Award recognizes those on the ground, encouraging and promoting sustainable building. 
-  Innovation Award recognizes creative ways sustainable building is happening and progressing industry.
- Transformational Award recognizes the impact sustainability practices can have in driving real change with a clear before and after.

Winners are announced in March, followed by the roll out of a comprehensive marketing campaign that runs through the year, including a series of assets about our winners. We’re focused on putting a spotlight on our three Mavericks! See our 2025 winners.
