Manufacturers Board Welcomes New Director Ryan Garrah
HRAI Manufacturers Division Chair Dermot McMorrow, Vice President & General Manager – HVAC Division, Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada Inc. is pleased to announce a recent appointment to the Manufacturers Board. Ryan Garrah President, Emerson Electric Canada will serve as Chair of the Refrigeration Product Section and Director on the HRAI Manufacturers Board.
In Ryan’s 15 years with Emerson, he has progressed through a variety of roles including leadership within the Cold Chain & Human Comfort business unit responsible for brands such as Copeland, Vilter, and Sensi.
Ryan holds a Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree from Queen’s University. Prior to Emerson he worked as an engineer in several countries including Switzerland, the U.S. and Cuba. Ryan’s business interests span topics involving sustainability, decarbonization and electrification of Infrastructure. He enjoys delivering business impact through enabled and engaged teams. Ryan is a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) and Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME). He is a coach with Avatar Innovations and is actively involved as an advisor in several start-ups. He lives in Oakville with his wife Kendra and children Emerson and Andrew.
