Join the HRAI Manitoba Chapter on November 30th, 2021 for their Annual General Meeting. After the AGM will be guest speakers Sandy MacLeod, President and CEO, and Angie Mantei, Manager, Education Delivery from HRAI National.
Angie will take the audience through HRAI’s educational programs including the virtual offerings now available to members. She ill give the audience an update on the improved Residential Air System Design course that has now launched.
Sandy will update participants on recent HRAI activities, and will focus on the Energy Transition and Building Carbonization, including how the HVACR industry can benefit. Heating on average across Canada represents more than 50% of energy in homes and buildings. Overall heating and cooling in the built environment represents close to 20% of all carbon emissions in Canada. The HVACR sector is well positioned to thrive in the next decade especially those contractors that embrace this opportunity.
