In-person Information Sessions on Key Changes to the 2024 Building Code
The Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (OMMAH) is hosting in-person training sessions to explain key changes to the Ontario Building Code. Ontario’s updated Building Code, effective January 1, 2025, aims to reduce regulatory barriers in the construction industry and streamline housing development. OMMAH has previously shared details about the province's training initiatives to help the industry adapt. As part of this initiative, the ministry will host eight in-person sessions across the province.
These one-day sessions will provide detailed explanations of the significant technical and administrative updates in the new Code and offer the opportunity to address your questions.
