HRAI Seeks Input on Ontario 2023 Budget Recommendations

Through an ONTARIO 2023 BUDGET SUBMISSION SURVEY, HRAI is seeking input on the topics and issues that should be included in the HRAI 2023-2024 pre-budget submission to the Government of Ontario.  

A pre-budget submission provides HRAI and its members with an opportunity for to give recommendations to the government as they begin to plan for the upcoming fiscal year. These recommendations will urge the government to take action on issues of concern for our industry. 

Proposed topics for inclusion are as follows: 

  • Introduction of Municipal and Community Building Retrofit Program 

  • Tax Credit for Purchase of Non-Fossil Fuel Heating and Cooling Systems  

  • HVACR Manufacturing Support  

  • Eliminating Municipal Heating Contractor Licensing 

  • Improving Ventilation and IAQ Standards 

  • Supporting Workforce Development
