HRAI Receives Industry Input on Proposed Skilled Trades Ontario Regulations
This week, HRAI hosted a virtual consultation session to get industry input on proposed Skilled Trades Ontario (STO) regulations. Skilled Trades Ontario is set to replace the Ontario College of Trades in 2022 and become the province’s industry-informed training authority which will govern apprenticeship training, curriculum standards, and certifications.
During this session, HRAI reviewed the proposed regulations that will govern the way that trades operate in the province. The insights shared by participants will inform HRAI’s consultation submission which aims to shape STO to meet the needs of the HVACR industry.
