HRAI Loyalist & HRAI Kawartha Lakes Chapters Elect New Boards
On May 15, 2025, the Loyalist and Kawartha Lakes HRAI Chapters held their Annual General Meetings (AGMs), bringing together members to reflect on recent accomplishments, build community connections, and elect new boards for the coming year.
The Loyalist Chapter gathered at Bardon Supplies in Belleville, where attendees enjoyed a productive session before electing the following members to the chapter board:
Colin Crozier – Crozier Heating (Chair)
Patrick O’Meara – Ktown HVAC & Propane (Vice Chair)
Ashley Dillon – Bardon Supplies (Treasurer)
Aidan Wornes – St. Lawrence College (Director at Large)
Rob Lake – Dows Climate Care (Director at Large)
At the same time, the Kawartha Lakes Chapter met at the Holiday Inn Waterfront in Peterborough, electing a new board:
Justin Phillips – Driftwood Mechanical (Chair)
Daniel Mahoney – Redmond/Williams Distributing (Vice Chair)
Alex Berger – Fleming College (Treasurer)
John Andela – Rayco Refrigeration (Director at Large)
Marty Freeburn – Bardon Supplies (Director at Large)
These events were organized by HRAI’s Chapter Relations Coordinator, Samantha Mowlah-Baksh, who noted the strong turnout and enthusiasm: “It’s always inspiring to see members step up to lead and shape the direction of their local chapters. Both AGMs were filled with great conversations, renewed connections, and a lot of optimism about what we can accomplish together in the year ahead.”
The success of both meetings also reflects the broader momentum building across HRAI’s national chapter network. Scott Papp, HRAI’s Key Account Manager emphasized the importance of grassroots leadership: “Strong chapter leadership is one of the key foundations of our association’s success. Samantha did a fantastic job coordinating these AGMs, and I’m confident these new boards will continue building momentum and delivering meaningful value to their members throughout the year. “
