Earlier this summer HRAI Chair Scott McDonald announced HRAI’s Climate Action Statement and, since then we have been busy delivering the message in Ottawa that the HVACR industry needs to be front and center when it comes to developing good policy and effective programs for decarbonizing homes and buildings in Canada. We have started to gain meaningful traction with this messaging, gaining the attention of elected leaders and senior bureaucrats alike while at the same time effecting important changes to ongoing programs like Greener Homes.
