HRAI Emerging Trends in HVACR Committee is on the Move!
HRAI has brought together members from across Canada to form a new standing committee to investigate, assess and recommend direction for the membership and association on new emerging trends in the HVACR Industry.
The HVACR industry is rapidly changing. The demand for new technologies, more energy efficient products, and calls from policymakers and others from around the world for innovative solutions to shifting global energy problem is what makes this committee necessary.
Last November, HRAI’s Board of Directors agreed to appoint Rob Kearns of Johnstone Supply - B&B Trade Distribution Centre as Chair of the new Emerging Trends in HVACR Committee.
With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry and with a background in sales, marketing and purchasing in both manufacturing and distribution, Rob is very excited to Chair this committee. ‘As industry leaders we need to be innovators and have vision to shape the future’, says Rob.
The committee will meet three to four times per year to identify and review major industry trends, communicate findings to industry, consult external expertise as necessary, and make recommendations to HRAI’s Board of Directors on appropriate actions such as new training programs.
