HRAI Announces the Relaunch of Manufacturers Product Sections

HRAI is excited to announce the relaunch of its Product Sections, providing valuable opportunities for its members. 

The restructured Product Sections have been divided into three distinct areas: Refrigeration, Indoor Air Quality, and Heating and Air Conditioning. Each section matrix comprises approximately eight members. 

These Product Sections serve a common purpose and share four essential functions: 

  1. Engaging HRAI manufacturing members and other industry stakeholders in advocacy activities. 

  1. Regularly communicating key messages to the membership. 

  1. Conducting research on relevant topics of interest or expertise, whenever applicable. 

  1. Facilitating discussions on specific industry issues such as disruptive trends, regulations, standards, and codes. 

Every section is dedicated to conducting a minimum of two meetings per year and submitting quarterly reports to the Manufacturers’ Board of Directors. 

Currently, the Indoor Air Quality and Heating and Air Conditioning Product Sections are actively seeking members to join their ranks. 

Once the membership recruitment process is complete, the kickoff meetings for the IAQ and HAC Product Sections are tentatively scheduled for late August or early September 2023. 

On a different note, the Refrigeration Product Section held a meeting earlier this week, where several important topics were addressed. The primary focus of this gathering encompassed discussions on a harmonized low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant strategy, as well as deliberations on PFAS and Standards and Codes.
