HRAI and Women in HVACR Canada Announce New Relationship

In a landmark move, the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) and Women in HVACR Canada (WIHC) have announced a groundbreaking service agreement set to reshape the landscape of support and advocacy within the HVACR industry. This collaboration aims to provide a platform for fostering inclusivity, empowering women in the industry, and promoting the highest standards in the field. 

The service agreement, effective immediately, solidifies the partnership between HRAI and WIHC to work in unison for the betterment of their members. The agreement outlines several key areas of collaboration that promise to bring about significant positive impacts for the members of both organizations. 

According to HRAI CEO Sandy MacLeod, “HRAI is pleased to announce this formal agreement with  Women in HVACR Canada. This agreement presents new opportunities for collaboration that will not only benefit each organization but will enrich the Canadian industry by recognizing and giving voice to the contributions and evolving roles of women in our industry.” Acting President of WIHC, Jill Breeze adds, “With the support of HRAI’s shared services, our volunteers can focus on promoting career paths in the HVACR industry to Canadian students.” 

This collaboration embodies a significant step forward in promoting inclusivity, professional development, and industry excellence which will ultimately lead to a more robust and supportive HVACR industry in Canada.
