HRAI and ORAC Announce their 2021-2022 Ontario Government Relations Strategic Priorities

The joint HRAI and ORAC Government Relations Committee has approved their 2021-2022 Ontario Government Relations Strategic Priorities. These priority areas have been identified as pertinent concerns for the industry and will guide the government relations work over undertaken in Ontario by the organizations over the next 12 months. The four strategic priorities are:

  • Flammable refrigerants training for technicians
  • Active engagement in the development and implementation of Skills Trade Ontario
  • Refinement of TSSA BPV policies and procedures
  • Identifying opportunities for economic recovery for the HVACR industry

Over the next several weeks, Up in the Air will dive deeper into each of the priorities in a series of articles that aim to inform members of the work accomplished to date and outline our next steps.
