Eric Ellefsen Wins Award for Excellence in Apprenticeship Education

Eric Ellefsen, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Instructor at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) St. Andrews, has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Award for Excellence in Apprenticeship Education. 

The award honours apprenticeship educators who give outstanding instructional programming to apprentices in Red Seal Trades. 

Ellefsen has been educating apprentices in St. Andrews, NB for more than 36 years. In that time, he has pioneered various training including 3D virtual training. What’s more, Ellefsen has tirelessly promoted diversity and inclusion in the skilled trades. 

HRAI congratulates Eric for this well-deserved award and all of the other unsung HVACR instructors who keep this industry moving forward.
