This Technical Specification defines the method, requirements, and considerations for estimating coincidence peak demand impacts from energy impact using load shape analysis and Peak-to-Energy Factors (PEFs). It applies to residential, commercial, and industrial sectors where the load shapes 1) can represent the relationship between energy and peak demand impact; or 2) can represent the time- differentiated energy savings within Canadian electrical systems, including many types of HVACR systems.
