Building to Electrification Coalition
B2E is a BC-based member-driven coalition working towards a Vision that by 2030, all new and most replacement space heating and domestic hot water systems in BC's buildings will be high-efficiency and low-carbon with electric systems being widely used across all market sectors.
The purpose of the B2E is to create opportunities for multiple stakeholders to work collaboratively to identify and address barriers to electrification and take actions that contribute to a meaningful market shift to low carbon building electrification. B2E is a convener and knowledge hub of building electrification best practices.
HRAI is a member of the Building to Electrification Coalition and would encourage BC members to check out this initiative, get involved with various events coming up (see below), and review their case study on Reducing Carbon Through Heat Recovery.
