BC Contractors Required to Show TSBC Registration
As recently reported in Mechanical Business magazine, Technical Safety BC (TSBC) is looking for industry input on the new guidelines for licensed contractors coming into effect on September 6, 2022. Under the new guidelines, contractors will be required to publish their company name and Technical Safety BC licence number when advertising their services. The changes are part of an effort to increase the visibility of licensed contractors and discourage unlicensed work.
In order to establish guidelines defining what types of advertising should require a company name and contractor licence number, TSBC is looking for input from contractors until June 6, 2022.
Contractors can provide input by signing up for a virtual focus group, or by providing online input here.
