Alberta Energy Efficiency Talent Needs & Gaps Survey

Advancing energy efficiency in Alberta’s commercial, institutional, and multi-unit residential buildings can significantly reduce emissions and demand on energy.  Ensuring that an adequate supply of labour and skills are available to meet the demands for energy efficiency within new and existing buildings is a critical step to achieving this goal.

ECO Canada undertaking a research exercise to “enhance employer capacity to advance energy efficiency talent in Alberta.”  The study and the strategy development are part of a larger initiative for capacity building to grow energy efficiency talent within Alberta.

To assist with the research, ECO Canada has launched a brief EMPLOYER HR SURVEY to better understand the current and near-term energy efficiency workforce needs and challenges and guide the development of a strategy.

If you are an employer doing business in Alberta, please consider taking 10 minutes to complete this survey to assist in the development of effective policies for the province.
