What you will learn

This 3-day course is based on ventilation system design requirements as per the CSA F326 Standard. Students will work through numerous in-class examples that cover a number of design options (of increasing complexity) available for F326 compliant residential mechanical ventilation systems. Instructors will cover how to determine ventilation requirements and subsequent equipment selection, system design, pressure imbalance, depressurization prediction (design), depressurization testing, and make-up air-system design.

THE BEST PART:  Graduates of this course will be equipped to: 1) recognize situations of system imbalance through predictive modelling and/or depressurization testing and 2) remedy imbalance with appropriate system design options.
