This program is the core commercial calculation module of Right-Suite Universal and uses 24 hour by 12 month ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals methods to compute heating and cooling loads for an unlimited number of zones. Right-CommLoad automatically takes information from Right-Draw as the building is drawn and calculates heating and cooling loads almost instantaneously.

Right-CommDuct sizes duct system trunks and branches using the zone loads calculated in Right-CommLoad. It allows users to compute duct and fitting size based on air flow with appropriate velocity limits, and then the software tells you the required fan pressure and total air flow. A project template allows info related to fitting and materials to be preset to save input time.

Right-SolarDHW calculates the performance and operating cost savings of solar domestic hot water heating systems. The module takes into account the orientation of the collector types, such as the slope and azimuth, so the contractor can consider “what-if” scenarios in the placement of the collectors. This is an ideal situation for retrofit applications where the collector location may be limited by available roof area.
