Training and Safe-Use Practices

Safety is always a major concern when working with any piece of equipment or refrigerant. However, due to the higher pressures of R-410A technicians must be particularly vigilant about personal safety. Safety glasses and gloves should be worn when handling any refrigerant.

HRAI highly recommends that technicians seek out appropriate training for handling R-410A. Training can typically be accessed through equipment manufacturers or the wholesaler where you purchase refrigerant.
