HRAI Manufacturer Standards Development

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) manufacturers division and its staff actively participate in the development and maintenance of national and international product safety and performance standards and codes.

The division works closely with agencies such as the Canadian Standards Association, Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute, Underwriters Laboratories, Canadian Codes Centre and provincial building code and other related ministries on standards and codes that affect indoor environment products.
