The HRAI Wholesalers Code of Conduct
Members of The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada’s (HRAI) wholesalers division agree to:
- Provide value-added products and services to the trade;
- Promote the highest respect for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) wholesale profession;
- Maintain strict compliance with all laws, regulations and ordinances pertaining to the HVACR industry and business operations prescribed by federal, provincial and municipal governments;
- Ensure that quality, honesty, integrity and good faith are incorporated as standard business practices;
- Maintain a clean, safe, respectable and well-identified place of business commensurate with the high standards of the industry;
- Maintain high standards of environmental responsibilities, safety, efficiency and customer service for the HVACR wholesale industry by supporting ongoing education and training of employees;
- Develop and maintain the highest quality standards of customer service;
- Encourage and support business development in which skilled and professional HVACR wholesale staff are empowered to provide high-level services to contractors and other trade customers;
- Encourage, develop and support the recruitment of new staff to the wholesale industry; and
- HRAI wholesalers division members are committed to support the industry guidelines for the decommissioning of HVACR equipment, recycling of refrigerants and other materials that impact the Canadian environment.
